If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome. One child under 6 years stays free of charge when using existing beds. One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. One older child or adult is charged EUR 15 per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Area information

The Megara Boutique Sultanahmet Hotel is located just off Sultanahmet Square and only a short walk from most of Istanbul major tourist attractions. Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and the other major sights of interest are situated in 10 minutes from the hotel. The hotel provides stunning views of Bosphorous and the Topkapı Palace. Hotel is also located 5 minutes away from the nearest Metro Station.

Important information

Please note that check in at this property is until 18:00. In case your arrival is later than 18:00 you need to notify the hotel regarding your arrival time to allow them to make appropriate arrangements. Failure to do so may result that your room not being available for you.

Travel information

At the northern end of Akbiyik Caddesi ("Avenue of the White Moustache") are the Topkapi Palace walls, a small mosque and a ruined Ottoman hamam (Turkish bath). Toward the south are ruins of the Byzantine Magnaura Palace. Obviously, this is a street with some history, and not just an old man's moustache! It has several lodging-places in a range of prices, a few of the inevitable carpet and leather apparel shops, several bakkal (grocer's) shops, some cafes, bars and restaurants. The most interesting shopping is at its traditional Wednesday morning street market, however. In many ways, Akbiyik Caddesi is the heart of this part of the Sultanahmet hotel district.
