Antik Hotel Ideally located in the centre of the city, the hotel is within easy reach of many of the area’s main attractions, including: the Spice Market; Topkapi Palace; Karaköy Harbour; and the Blue Mosque. The history of Istanbul is the inspiration for this unique hotel. Built on top of a Roman Cistern, you will experience 4 different civilizations - the Roman, the Byzantium, the Ottoman and the Istanbul - as each floor of the hotel is designed to represent these different periods of Istanbul's past. The 1,500 year old archaeological ruins of the cistern are exhibited in the lobby, where you will be welcomed by the friendly staff, who are available 24-hours a day to help you with any query that you may have.

Each floor of the hotel carries a name of the city as it was known at different times throughout the ages: the Roman, the Byzantion, the Ottoman and the Istanbul. Floors and rooms were designed to reflect the culture and art of their named civilization.

Room information

Antik Hotel of Istanbul offers 96 delightful standard rooms and 4 suites on four floors, which are decorated to represent the four periods of Istanbul's history. Smoking, non-smoking and disabled rooms are available on request.

Food & beverage

Marmarion Restaurant: The restaurant serves Turkish, Ottoman and international cuisine on the terrace, with a unique view of Istanbul and the Marmara Sea. You can watch seagulls while tasting the chef's specialities. The restaurant is also suitable for business meetings with special meals (banqueting). Marmarion Bar: Music from world, wines from Anatolia. Every evening till midnight, you can enjoy Istanbul's mystic nights with thousands of diamonds shining on it.
