Close to Sultanahmet, this museum is a must see! One of the best, including a great collection of Sumerian tablets, pieces of the wall of Babylon and Roman marble statues. Put aside at least two hours for this superb complex, which houses a well-preserved range of artefacts, including the famous marble Alexander Sarcophagus. The sarcophagus depicted the Greek general and his army battling the Persians.
